Attended the Double Bill Concert featuring Jz8 and 2V1G at Bentley Music Auditorium, Mutiara Damansara on 21st August 2010.

Jz8 is made up of Lydia Chew 周翠玲 (one of the most sought after back-up vocalist in Malaysia) and Tay Cher Siang 郑泽相 (composer and pianist).

As for 2V1G, the group is made up of Roger Wang (Malaysia’s most talented and musical solo acoustic guitar player), Jeffrey 阿飞 (former lead vocalist of the band ‘Baby’)，Winnie Ho 何芸妮 (the winner of Astro Talent Quest (ATQ) 2000).

Mum has been attending PBUM’s (Persatuan Buddhis Universiti Malaya) MSK (Malam Suai Kenal) for the past many many years. This is the first time that we have tagged allow to check out what it’s all about. There was speeches and there was performances, and this is what I have to show from that interesting evening.

The very first Kaka Art Market was successfully held today (6 June 2010) at the concourse of Shaw Parade, Kuala Lumpur. I’ll let the photoes do the talking and show you what you have missed if you didnt manage to make it this round. There would be another art market schedule early July 2010.

Kaka Art Market June ’10

With the help of pingstage 凭舞台, Shaw Parade Kuala Lumpur would be organising a series of art and culture events from the month of June 2010 to August 2010.

To kick off this series of events, there would be an art and handicraft market to be held at the Shaw Parade concourse on 6 June 2010 from 11am until 7pm.

Shaw Parade Press Conference June ’10

In conjunction with 2010′s Wesak Day celebration, Yayasan Guan Yin would be organising a series of programmes during this serene month.

First in the list of programmes would be the official launching of Serene Month at The Summit USJ with the theme ‘Harmony in Unity. 1Malaysia’.

These were taken during the official launching performance by Yayasan Guan Yin‘ choir.
